The story of PP Chin Hin Sdn Bhd began 50 years ago with humble roots. Established in 1974 as Chop Chin Hin, we embarked on our journey dealing in modest building materials and transportation. From those early days, we’ve grown with unwavering dedication and ambition, evolving into a dynamic, rapidly expanding group of companies. Our history is marked by key milestones that have shaped us into the success we are today:
During this pivotal period, Chin Hin Group began streamlining its business operations to concentrate on becoming a market leader in the production and distribution of cement across Malaysia. By 1993, the company had earned recognition as the largest cement distributor in the northern region, solidifying its position in the industry.
The cement distribution business was thriving, leading to the incorporation of Perniagaan & Pengangkutan Chin Hin Sdn. Bhd. as a private limited company. By 1998, the company had made its mark in Kuala Lumpur with the opening of its first office located at Udarama Compes – an iconic spot fondly remembered by many from the 80s era!
Guided by a vision for growth, Chin Hin Group was established and began diversifying its products. This milestone saw the launch of our ready-mixed concrete plant in Alor Setar, solidifying our presence in the northern region.
